Day 1 - AIRPORT > COLOMBO

Day 01

Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, please proceed to collect your luggage and clear customs. Afterward, you will enter the public arrival lounge, where you will meet your chauffeur guide, who will be holding a signboard with your name.

After check in to the Sri Lanka proceed to Colombo and take a travel around the Colombo City shopping tour to explore the city inside out, discovering all the attractions, shopping centers and boutique shops. City tour of Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, scenic Gangarama Temple, Cinnamon Gardens, Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah.

With the time permission and your willing, optionally you can have a visit to local barber shop (Salon) to trim/style your hair, a local tailor to design your own customized suite at a reasonable cost or enjoy authentic Sri Lankan Kottu at a local restaurant. In the evening, proceed to the hotel and relax.

Day 2 - COLOMBO > PINNAWALA > KANDY

Day 02

After an early breakfast, drive to Kandy en-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. A sanctuary for rescued and orphaned elephants along the Maha Oya River. Visitors can observe elephants roaming freely, socializing, and bathing in the river, with opportunities to see baby elephants being bottle-fed. The orphanage focuses on conservation and offers a unique chance to experience Sri Lanka’s gentle giants up close.

In completion you will continue to Kandy. En-route you can taste a delicious tropical king coconut (Thambili), a cup of tea with jaggery or roti, some unique tropical fruits by stopping at local roadside vendor on your own willing under very reasonable prices.

Visit a spice garden - The environment in this region provides ideal conditions for cultivating cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, peppercorn, and other aromatic spices. You will have the opportunity to learn about the sustainable, eco-friendly methods used in the cultivation of these natural products. At the end of your visit, you can stop by the souvenir shop to purchase some authentic, exotic spices directly from their source. Day 4 - KANDY > RAMBODA > NUWARA ELIYA

Day 04

Drive to Nuwara Eliya en-route visit Ramboda Waterfall. Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.

Visit a Tea Factory and discover the fascinating process behind the production of Ceylon tea. Learn about the Productions of Tea in Sri Lanka, The production of tea involves a tedious procedure of plucking, withering, rolling, oxidizing and drying – a process that requires heavy machines and plenty of manpower. Once in the tea factory, you would generally start out in the plantation itself to learn about how tea is cultivated, then visit the factory where ancient machines pre-dating the industrial revolution wither, roll and dry the tea. There is normally a little time at the end of the tour for a tea tasting, either of one specific type of tea or occasionally of the various specialties of that factory.

Day 5 –NUWARA ELIYA > WADDUWA

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Wadduwa in the morning.

On your way to Wadduwa, witness St. Clair Waterfall & Devon Waterfall.

Devon Falls situated 6 km west of Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya District. The falls is named after pioneer English coffee planter Devon, whose plantation is situated nearby the falls. The Waterfall is 97 metres high and ranked 19th highest in the Island.

St. Clair's Falls is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is commonly known as the "Little Niagara of Sri Lanka". It is one of six waterfalls affected by the Upper Kotmale Hydropower Project. In completion embark on an exhilarating escape to Kitulgala, a lush rainforest destination renowned for its scenic beauty and thrilling white water rafting. Paddle through the rushing rapids of the Kelani River, surrounded by misty mountains, emerald jungle, and echoing bird calls. Suitable for beginners and seasoned adventurers alike, this guided rafting experience includes both gentle stretches and adrenaline-pumping drops.

Archaeological findings suggest that the cave was once home to the Balangoda Man, an ancient human species that lived more than 30,000 years ago. Today you will do an excursion to Madu river and Kosgoda to have a fantastic boat ride and witness a turtle hatchery.

Set off on a serene journey through the lush waterways of Balapitiya with the Madhu River Boat Safari—an immersive experience through a vibrant ecosystem of mangroves, islands, and traditional village life. As your boat weaves along the river’s winding paths, you’ll pass through shaded mangrove tunnels, home to a variety of birdlife, monitor lizards, and amphibians.

Along the way, step ashore on Cinnamon Island to observe the age-old process of cinnamon peeling, visit the peaceful Kothduwa Temple nestled on an islet, and dip your feet into a natural fish spa for a quirky and relaxing treat. With its blend of nature, culture, and gentle adventure, this boat ride offers a refreshing escape into the heart of Sri Lanka’s riverine beauty—perfect during early mornings or late afternoons.

In completion, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Learn more about the five endangered sea turtle species that come to the shores of Sri Lanka to nest. Learn how the Kosgoda Turtle Care Program helps protect the nests until they hatch and increases the chances of survival for the babies. Get a chance to see, touch and feed baby turtles; or even injured adult turtles that the Turtle Hatchery cares for. Proceed to Aluthgama and visit Aluthgama Bazaar.

Experience the vibrant local life of the Aluthgama Bazaar, a lively marketplace filled with color, culture, and authentic Sri Lankan charm. Stroll through the bustling streets lined with small shops and stalls offering everything from fresh tropical fruits, aromatic spices, and handmade souvenirs to local textiles and street food. This is a perfect opportunity to interact with friendly locals, observe daily trading traditions, and enjoy the true essence of a coastal town marketplace. Don’t forget to try a Sri Lankan king coconut if you see a vendor while you travel.

Continue your journey to Kande Viharaya, located in Aluthgama. This temple is renowned for its massive seated Buddha statue—one of the tallest in the region—and its beautifully detailed murals and shrines. Surrounded by a serene hilltop setting, Kande Viharaya provides insight into local religious practices and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

In completion proceed back to your hotel. If you are lucky enough, you will see some local net fishermen (Maa-del) along the beach.

On your way to the hotel, stop at Kalutara Bodhiya, one of the most revered Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. This sacred site is home to a centuries old Bodhi tree and an impressive hollow stupa, offering a tranquil setting for reflection and cultural appreciation.

After that, return back to your hotel in Wadduwa.
